BAD NEWS HITS US AGAIN!

Bad new for NEO!
NEO woke up yesterday paralyzed from the chest down from several bad discs in the middle of his spine!
The out come is not looking good at all!
We will see if he improves over the weekend,if not it may be time to say goodbye to a great buddy and pal to me and Corey but mostly difficult and heart felt for Neil as he is his constant companion.NEO will leave a legacy of beautiful pups he sired with NIKKI!
Those of you that know Neo will remember him as a noble giant with a heart of gold!
Please pray for NEO we need a miracle!

85.5 pounds today!

Took Corey to the vets to weigh him and he was 85.5 pounds.So we took a ride up to the mountians to give him a change of pace!

90 Pounds

Corey is at his ideal weight of 90 pounds!!!Thats over 40 pounds lost!
Corey had his 3.2mg injection of percorten on the 13Th of August
and is still on 5mg of prednisone per day.
I have been taking Corey swimming every other day,I still can't walk him on the tar for long because he drags his toe nails and they wear down,but he can run on grass and walk on floors okay.It's good to have a some what normal life again!

Corey update for 8/10/2009

Corey went to the vets at 11:10am for a check up and had his Lyme and DHLP + Parvo vaccination.
Corey is doing great on his diet, he weighed in at
93.5 pounds!!!

He was at one time over 130 pounds!!!
and is on 3.2 ml of percorten-v instead of 4.5 ml!
We are going to get him down to 90 pounds then start balancing his meds.
Its great when you have people that help and cooperate with you when you have a dog that has weight and health issues!
